Bhubaneswar: The CBSE announced the results of Class 10 Examination for the year 2023. The total pass percentage of the students stood at 93.12.
While Trivandrum topped the list with 99.91% region-wise pass percentage followed by Bengaluru, Chennai, Ajmer and Pune, Bhubaneswar ranked 8th among top 10 cities in the country with the pass percentage 93.64.
Here's the region-wise pass percentage:
Total 21,65,805 students had appeared in the annual Class 10 Examination conducted by the CBSE this year, out of which 20,16,779 students had cleared the examination.
A total of 1,95,799 students scored 90% and above, while 44,297 students scored 95% and above in the examination.
Like previous years, the girls have done much better than boys by 1.98%. While 94.25% girls passed the examination, the pass percentage of boys was 92.27 this year.
This year, 1,34,774 candidates were placed in compartment. The percentage is 6.22.
The examination was conducted from February 15 to March 21, 2023 at 7241 centres across the country.
