“Sabi had admitted to the crime, but she couldn’t exactly tell about where she sold the kid. She made us to travel about 4000 km in four days. It may be noted that the child was kidnapped by the lady from the waiting hall at the Railway station of Bhubaneswar on February 27. The cops raided different places of Puri and Sambalpur the next day and arrested Shantilata Mishra and a physically challenged person with connection to this case.

The mother returned back to Haryana on March 11 after the slow progress in investigation of the case. The cops on the other hand arrested Sabi, the main accused on March 20 and toured all over the state to rescue the child without any success.

A lie detection test was conducted on Sabi on March 23 and she failed in it as per the reports of the test received on March 26.
