Driving without DL will result in seizure of vehicle in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: A special drive against traffic rule violation will be conducted on National Highways and State Highways in Odisha from today till October 21.

The State Transport Authority (STA) has written to all Regional Transport Officers (RTOs) in this regard.

The special drive shall be focused on driving without helmet, using mobile phone while driving, driving without fastening seat belt and driving with excess speed.

It will be carried out from 9 am to 2 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm on the above-mentioned dates.

Vehicles of those driving without DL will be seized during the drive.

On the other hand, DLs of those driving without helmet will be suspended for three months.
