ECoR to run three new trains from Odisha

As announced in Railway budget, the Railway ministry has decided to introduce Paradeep-Santragachhi weekly express from February 9, Visakhapatnam-Paradeep weekly Express from February 11 and Gunupur-Visakhapatnam-Gunupur passenger from February 9 under East Coast Railway (ECoR) jurisdiction.

ECoRThe Paradeep-Santragachhi Express will run as a special train. This train will leave Paradeep at 1800 hours and reach at Santragachhi at 0300 hours on the following day. In the return direction, the train will leave Santragachhi at 0500 hours on February 10 and arrive at Paradeep at 1215 hours on the same day.

However, the regular run of this train will commence from Paradeep from February 16 and February 17 2015 from Santragachhi.

22814 Paradeep-Santragachhi weekly Express will leave Paradeep at 2355 hours o­n every Monday and arrive at Santragachhi at 0845 hours o­n the following day. In the return direction, 22813 Santragachhi-Paradeep weekly Express will leave Santragachhi at 2040 hours o­n every Tuesday and arrive at Paradeep at 0430 hours o­n the next day.

A new daily passenger train between Gunupur-Visakhapatnam-Gunupur will be introduced on February 9 from Gunupur and the train will run as a special train from Gunupur to Visakhapatnam at 1800 hours. The regular service of this train will commence from February 10 from Visakhapatnam.

58505 Gunupur-Visakhapatnam Passenger will leave Gunupur at 1425 hours and will reach Visakhapatnam at 2140 hours. In the return direction, 58506 Visakhapatnam-Gunupur passenger will leave Visakhapatnam at 0700 hours and arrive at Gunupur at 1355 hours. This train will stop at all stations and Passenger halts between Gunupur and Visakhapatnam.

The Visakhapatnam-Paradeep-Visakhapatnam Express will be introduced on February 11from Visakhapatnam at 1430 hours and run as a special train. On the inaugural day, this train will leave Visakhapatnam at 1430 hours and reach at Paradeep at 2315 hours and return from Paradeep at 2355 hours on the same day and reach at Visakhapatnam at 0930 hours on the following day.

However, the regular run of this train will commence from Visakhapatnam and Paradeep from February 15 and 18 respectively.

22809 Paradeep-Visakhapatnam weekly Express will leave Paradeep at 2230 hours o­n every Wednesday and arrive at Visakhapatnam at 0835 hours o­n the following day. In the return direction, 22810 Visakhapatnam-Paradeep weekly Express will leave Visakhapatnam at 2350 hours o­n every Sunday and arrive at Paradeep at 0930 hours o­n the next day.

Both the weekly Express trains will have stoppages at important stations between originating to destination stations, an ECoR release said today.​
