Saroj Kumar Sahoo, a second year Mechanical branch student of ITER, was last seen and heard inside the hostel campus on March 20 morning when he left hostel number 5 where he was staying at room number-212, as per information given by his hostel room mates.

When he did not return to his hostel, Saroj’s hostel mates conveyed the information to his family, who searched for Saroj at all possible places but could not trace him.

Today, Saroj’s family members lodged a missing report at the Khandagiri police station here requesting them to trace their son as soon as possible.

They also alleged that their son could have been kidnapped by some antisocials.

“Kindly trace out his whereabout. It is our presumption that he has been kidnapped,” said Bhaskar Chandra Sahoo, Saroj’s uncle.

Meanwhile, police have circulated Saroj’s particulars with photograph to all police stations in the city and outside to locate him.
