Five children flee from shelter home in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Once again, a few children escaped from the Ruchika Shelter Home here by breaking open the grill of the bathroom last night.

A complaint has been lodged at the Lingaraj police station in this regard, following which the cops have begun an investigation into the incident.

Earlier on May 1, 2017, 11 kids had fled the shelter home in the same way by breaking open the bathroom skylight. A 16-year-old Bangladeshi boy, who had earlier fled from a Jatni-based shelter home and later shifted to Ruchika Shelter Home, was the mastermind behind the escape of the 11 kids.
