Former Orissa HC Chief Justice S Muralidhar gets new role in Supreme Court

Bhubaneswar: Former Orissa High Court Chief Justice S Muralidhar is all set to practice as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of India.

The apex court has recently designated Justice Muralidhar as a senior advocate.

The decision was taken at a full court meeting of the Chief Justice of India and other judges of Supreme Court on October 16.

Justice Muralidhar had served as a judge at Delhi High Court and Punjab and Haryana High Court before his elevation to the Chief Justice of Odisha High Court in January, 2021.

He retired as Orissa High Court Chief Justice in August this year.
