Four minors killed in wall collapse in Odisha’ Ganjam

Tragedy struck the Kalajamuna village under Rambha police limits in Odisha’s Ganjam district today as four minors died after a mud wall collapsed on them, killing three on the spot.

The four minor children, including two girls, were playing near an under-construction kuccha house when the mud wall caved in. While three juveniles died on the spot, the fourth victim succumbed to the injuries at the MKCG Medical College and Hospital, Brahmapur.

The monsoon rains in the past few days reportedly weakened the earthen structure of the house resulting in the disaster.

The deceased have been identified as Shrabani Mallick, Nandini Mallick, Sanjib Sahu and Seshadev Mallick.
