Four PLFI members arrested in Odisha’s Sundargarh

Four members of banned People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) were arrested by Odisha police today in Sundargarh district.

According to sources, the PLFI members were planning to execute loot when they were nabbed by the police. The accused were allegedly involved in Mandiakuda petrol pump robbery that took place last week.

The police seized four pistols, bullets, two-wheelers and Rs 50, 000 cash from their possession.

Notably, they were also involved in loots at various places in Odisha, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh.

Among the four arrested, two are from Biramitrapur area and the rest are from Kolabira in Jharkhand.

Meanwhile, three special squads have been formed to nab the mastermind of the gang. The officials are conducting raids at various places to nab him.
