Gana Shikshaks to be regularized from next fiscal, announces Odisha Minister

Jobs of Gana Shikshaks will be regularized from the next financial year, announced Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Debi Prasad Mishra here today.

However, the Minister’s announcement had a rider that Gana Shikshaks will be regularized on the basis of qualifications keeping in mind vacancies.

Mishra made the announcement on the basis of the decision taken at the inter-ministerial sub-committee.

On the other hand, Gana Shikshaks again resumed their agitation today demanding regularization of their jobs.

Gana Shikshaks today staged a demonstration at the Lower PMG square reiterating their demand for regularization of jobs of all who have completed six years of service since their first appointment.

Odisha Gana Shikshak Mahasangha has alleged that the inter-ministerial sub-committee was delaying in taking a decision on the issue.
