Ghost vehicle registration in Odisha: Two RTO staff chargesheeted

Police have filed charge sheet against two Regional Transport Office (RTO) staff for their alleged complicity in the ghost vehicle registration racket in Odisha’s Chandikhole, sources said today.

According to sources, the Badachana police have filed charge sheet against the former Junior MVI Ashok Kumar Sinha and Braja Kishore Mishra, the suspended steno of RTO, Chandikhole.

The investigating officers submitted a 297-page charge sheet in the court.

The duo was arrested earlier in May this year in connection with fake registration of 27 tankers at RTO, Chandikhole.

They have been charged under section 419,420, 468, 471, 472, 474, 482, 120 B of IPC.
