Habishyali critical as barricade falls on her at Srimandir in Odisha’s Puri

Puri: A Habishyali was critically injured after a barricade fell on her at the Shree Jagannath Temple in Odisha’s Puri today during Mangala Alati ritual of the deities.

The incident took place near Jaya-Bijaya Dwara this morning as Bilasini Behera (75) of Narendrakona area in the district fell down due to rush for darshan of the deities.

A barricade then fell on the legs of the elderly woman leaving her injured. She was admitted to the Puri district headquarters hospital for treatment. She has reportedly sustained fracture on his right leg.
