The result of the examination was announced today. A large number of students passed in 1st division, said a notification from the institute.

While girls outshone boys in general, Pruthiraj Ghanta topped the school securing 93% marks. Over 350 students of various primitive tribal groups (PTG) and 20 orphan students are among those who were successful in the examination.

“It is a rare feat to educate and groom tribal students from remote areas of the state and enable them to excel in the 10th board examination every year,” said an educationist.

Expressing satisfaction over the result, founder of KIIT & KISS Achyuta Samanta said, “Year after year the continued success of KISS students has been possible due to blessings of God, continuous effort of staff and hard work of KISS students”.

Notably, as many as 1300 students from the school wing of the institute had taken the examination making it the highest number of students from a single school to have appeared in the examination in the country.

Despite being a tribal institute, KISS has been achieving excellent result in 10th board examination ever since its inception.
