Man dies after being shot with arrow in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj

Baripada: A man died after allegedly being shot with an arrow over past enmity at Kukudimundi village under Gorumahisani police limits in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district.

According to reports, a dispute was prevailing between Samara Dehury and Chotray Dehury. The matter took an ugly turn when Chotray shot an arrow at Samara while the latter was standing in front of his house yesterday evening.

The victim sustained critical injuries in the attack and was rushed to Rairangpur Hospital, where he breathed his last.

The accused absconded after committing the crime. Police have started investigation into the incident while efforts were on to trace and nab the attacker.
