Odisha adds 428 new COVID-19 cases with 0.89% TPR

Bhubaneswar: As many as 428 persons, including 55 children below 18 years of age, tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha during the last 24 hours while a total of 48086 samples were tested in the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 0.89%.

Khurda district registered highest 179 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (46) and Jajpur (21).

With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state reached 1017261 with 6290 active cases.

The Health Department also reported four more deaths due to COVID-19 as the toll in the state reached 8108.
