Odisha Cabinet meeting today

The Odisha Cabinet is most likely to deliberate on a number of important issues in a meeting here this afternoon.

The meeting, to be presided over by chief minister Naveen Patnaik, would begin at the State Secretariat at 5.30 PM.

There is no specific information about the issues to be taken up at the meeting. The ministers would be informed about the issues for discussion shortly before commencement of the meeting.

Reliable sources, however, said the cabinet is most likely to discuss about the proposal on mining issues.

Apart from this, in view of the two-day visit of the BJP National President Amit Shah here tomorrow, the cabinet is most likely to come up with some major announcements to garner the support of the people, the sources added.
