The CBI office here, which has seen a stream of visitors, including some political bigwigs, over the last few weeks, had a new visitor this evening when city based builder Santosh NAYAK appeared at its premises for interrogation in connection with the mega chit fund scam in Odisha.

Emerging out of a three-hour long interrogation by CBI officials, Nayak said he had provided answers to all the questions asked to him.

He has been asked to come again tomorrow, CBI sources said.

Nayak, a builder based in Laxmisagar area here, is being questioned about his links with the Artha Tatwa (AT) group, the sources said.

He and AT group chief Pradeep Sethy had invested a large amount of money in a housing project in the city. Nayak had taken Rs 1.25 crore from Sethy to hand over seven flats in an apartment in Laxmisagar area, the sources added.
