Odisha CM directs to complete Keonjhar medical college in two years

Bhubaneswar, May 24:

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today directed the officials to complete the construction work of government medical college in Keonjhar district in two years.

Total Rs 314 crore will be spent for the 100-seat medical college. The project has been assigned to the Messrs Tata Projects for the construction work of building.

Earlier, the administrative nod was given to set up the proposed medical college. CM Patnaik had laid foundation stone in the mines-rich Keojhar district.

The proposed medical college was a long standing demand of locals in the district. The common people especially tribals will be benefited with the operationalisation of the medical college.
