Bhubaneswar: In view of heavy rains that triggered flash floods in Rayagada and Kalahandi districts in Odisha, the train services have been cancelled, diverted and short terminated on several routes.
While Sambalpur-Nanded Express leaving from Sambalpur has been cancelled for today, Nanded-Sambalpur Express from Nanded has been suspended for tomorrow on July 18. The train services of Bhubaneswar-Junagarh Road -Bhubaneswar Express has been cancelled between Rayagada and Junagarh Road from both the directions.
Several trains have been diverted between Rayagada and Titlagarh route. Tirupati-Bilaspur Express leaving Tirupati on July 16 has been diverted via Vijaynagaram-Bhubaneswar-Angul-Sambalpur road-IB instead of Vijaynagaram-Rayagada-Titlagarh and Raipur.
Similarly, Bhubaneswar-Junagarh Road Express that left Bhubaneswar on July 16 was short terminated at Rayagada. Junagarh Road-Bhubaneswar Express will leave from Rayagada instead of Junagarh Road.
