Odisha govt appoints R P Sharma as new DG Vigilance

The Odisha government today went for a reshuffle at the senior IPS level.

While 1986 batch IPS officers Dr R P Sharma and B K Sharma were promoted to DGP rank, 1990 batch IPS Y B Khurania has been posted as new Twin City police commissioner. Khurania was earlier serving as Special Director Vigilance
Dr Sharma has been promoted and posted as new Director General Vigilance. Before his promotion he was serving as Twin City police commissioner.
Similarly, 1986 batch IPS B K Sharma has been promoted and posted as Special DGP Crime Branch (CID).
Sharma was earlier serving as ADG Crime Branch.
