Odisha HC Chief Justice transferred

Orissa High Court Chief Justice D H Waghela has been transferred as Chief Justice of Bombay High Court, a notification from Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi said on Wednesday.

Justice Waghela joined the Orissa High Court as Chief Justice in June 2015. He had earlier worked as the Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court.

Born in August 1954 at Rajkot in Gujarat, Justice Waghela began legal practice in his hometown in November 1975 and was elevated to the Bench of the Gujarat High Court as Additional Judge in September 1999.
