Odisha PAC raps General Administration dept

The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the Odisha Assembly today reprimanded the General Administration department for improper maintenance of its accounts.

The Committee, at a meeting presided over by the chairman and leader of the Opposition Narasingh Mishra at the State Assembly here, came down heavily on the GA Department while reviewing the CAG report of 2005-06.

The Committee criticized the department for not maintaining its accounts properly as stated by the CAG in its report.
