Odisha police arrest Maoist involved in beat house torching

Nayagarh, Jan 6:

A Maoist allegedly involved in the Chhamundia beat house torching incident was arrested from Seneperi forest in Odisha’s Nayagarh district today.

The arrested Maoist was identified as Santosh Majhi (35), hailing from Sagadabhanga under Gania police limits in the district.

While cops arrested Majhi from the woods, six other Maoists managed to flee the spot, sources said.
