Odisha receives COVID vaccine for 3rd phase vaccination; slot booking soon

Bhubaneswar: Odisha today received 1.5 lakh doses of Covaxin COVID-19 vaccine as the first consignment of the state’s own procurement for vaccination of 18-44 years age group.

It will be used in the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation area, for which slots will be opened on COWIN for sessions to be held from May 3 onwards.

On May 1, the state government will carry out a symbolic commencement of vaccination for 18-44 years age group with vaccination of a few beneficiaries, in view of the weekend shutdown in urban areas.
