Odisha sand artist Manas Sahoo set to create ‘magic’ in Switzerland

Bhubaneswar: Internationally acclaimed Odia sand artist Manas Kumar Sahoo, who is known for his skills to create amazing sand animation, is all set to recreate the same magic in Switzerland.

Sahoo, the first sand animator from India, had been invited to create a sand art in the city of Zurich of Switzerland under ‘Art of Patriotism’. He will create the sand sculpture on October 7 (Sunday).

Through his art, Sahoo will spread the message of India’s pride of patriotism, its art, culture and rich tradition in the event.

Many renowned sand artists from across the world are scheduled to participate in the event.

Sahoo, who came into limelight after participating in a reality show ‘India’s Got Talent’ season 2, has earned several awards for his unique sand animation art in the past.
