Odisha youth falls into river while clicking selfie

Koraput: Clicking selfie near a river proved costly for a youth as he fell into the water body while doing so near Gupteswar shrine in Odisha’s Koraput district.

According to reports, Ritik Achari, a +3 Student of Boipariguda Degree College, had gone to the shrine with his friends yesterday. While he was taking a selfie with a mobile phone near Kolab river, he slipped, fell into the river and got carried away by water current.

On being informed, Fire Service personnel and ODRAF team reached the spot and launched rescue operation. Till last reports came in, the youth was yet to be traced.
