Police recover bombs from ganja-laden vehicle in Odisha’s Sambalpur

Sambalpur: In a shocking incident, Police recovered bombs from a ganja-laden vehicle in Thelkoloi block of Odisha’s Sambalpur district here today. As per reports, the vehicle was intercepted when the police were patrolling near Khinda village within Thelkoloi limits of the district on the day. However, the accused managed to escape.
Sources said a team of Thelkoloi police was patrolling when they saw the miscreants changing a deflated tyre of the vehicle near Khinda. As the latter fled the spot on seeing the cops, police suspected foul play and searched the vehicle and detected three to four bombs hidden in the contraband .
The bomb squad, on getting information reached the spot. Till reports last came in, search and investigation was underway.
