The girl was identified Sweta Bubna (28), daughter of Rajkumar Bubna, resident of Tapowan Apartment at Niwaranpur under the Chutia police station limits in Ranchi district of Jharkhand.

According to GRP IIC Soubhagya Kumar Swain, Sweta had travelled on the Ranchi-Howrah Intercity Express train from Ranchi to Howrah on September 21 to visit her sister’s house at South City Garden on Saha Road area in Kolkata. She arrived at Howrah station at 1.40 pm the ame day and has remained untraceable since that moment, he added.

After verification of CCTV footage of Howrah and Bhubaneswar railway stations, Swain said, it came to light that she had travelled from Howrah to Bhubaneswar on the Howrah-Puri Satabdi Express the same day, but in the name of Monalisha as per ticket details.

At 9.05 pm, Swain said, Sweta reached Bhubaneswar railway station as clearly seen in CCTV footage. As per the footage of the exit gate, she had gone outside of railway station. But since then, her whereabouts are yet to be known, he added.

Sweta, a 5 feet 1 inch tall, fair-complexioned and slim built girl, has unusual spots all over her body except face due to psoriasis disease. The girl with long and black hair wore a light blue colour shalwar kameez when she went missing. She was in mental depression due to her psoriasis disease, police sources said.

“If anybody finds her, please contact us physically or call us at 09437233298,” Swain said.
