Amid uproar in the House, Finance minister Pradip Amat presented the supplementary budget of Rrs 4502.34 cores for the year 2014-15 on the opening day of the winter session of the Odisha Assembly today.
Presenting the supplementary budget in the afternoon session of the House, which had to be adjourned twice due to the ruckus created by the Opposition benches, Amat said out of Rs 4502.34 crore budget outlay, Rs 2536.87 crore is earmarked for non-plan expenditure.
Apart from this, the budget has made a provision for a corpus fund of Rs 300 crore to compensate investors duped by chit fund companies, the minister said.
