Sambad Digital, Radio Choklate organise ‘Durga:Shakti ra Utsa’, felicitate 10 women achievers

Bhubaneswar: As many as 10 successful women from various walks of life were felicitated during ‘Durga:Shakti ra Utsa’ programme organised by Sambad Digital and Radio Choklate to mark the celebrations of the auspicious Durga Puja at Esplanade Mall in Rasulgarh area of the State Capital today.

Among the awardees were Director of Unlimited Fun Park (Wonder World) Rashmita Patra, Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) Director Dr Sanghamitra Pati, Managing Director of Sabat Export Amrita Sabat, Chairperson of Ekamra Vatika Meghna Singh Deo, Odissi and Chau dancer Ileana Citaristi, Sanjukta Badhei of Evangelist Start Up Odisha, Davik Tea’s founding Director Bhavna Gupta. The theme of the programme highlighted how there’s a goddess in every woman and how she can accomplish anything if given a chance.

All the award recipients  shared their stories of struggle and success to motivate other women. Women can achieve as much and even more than men. All they need is a conducive platform and opportunity to march ahead and achieve feats, they shared.

Each of them lit 10 earthen lamps highlighting 10 feminine attributes during the event which will continue for five days.

The programme saw a large gathering on the first day, with ‘Durga Maa’s Selfie Zone’ being one of the major attractions.
