Seven Hindi teachers booked for producing fake certificates

Police have booked seven contractual high school Hindi teachers on the charge of producing fake certificates.

“These teachers, who got the jobs by submitting forged certificates of Central Hindi Institute, Agra, have been booked under Sections 420 (forgery) and 468 (forgery for the purpose of cheating) and Section 34 of the IPC,” District Education Officer Sanjay Kumar Singh told OST.

Out of the seven Hindi teachers, six have submitted their resignation, he added.

It may be mentioned that the police a few years ago had busted a racket which was preparing fake tribal caste certificates to various job seekers.
