Sex racket busted in Odisha capital; one held, 3 women rescued

Bhubaneswar: Twin City Commissionerate police today busted a sex racket running from Metro Satellite City in Balianta area on the outskirts of Odisha capital.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided the premises and rescued three sex workers, sources said.

While one person was arrested during the raid, another managed to escape, the sources added.

Sources said while the kingpin of the racket hails from Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh, the other two women hail from Deogarh and Nayagarh district.

Police are investigating the matter.
