Three major bus stops in Odisha capital relocated

Bhubaneswar: Locations of three major bus stops in Odisha capital– Acharya Vihar, Vani Vihar and Jayadev Vihar– have been relocated.

A decision in this regard was taken at a meeting between the bus owners and RTO officials here, yesterday.

While the buses, which were earlier having stoppage at Vani Vihar Square, will now stop near Utkal University Law College. Similarly, locations for Acharya Vihar and Jayadev Vihar bus stops have been shifted 100 meters ahead of the previous spots.

The new move aims at reducing traffic congestion at the three junctions due to stoppage of passenger buses at the three places.
