Thunderstorm alert for these Odisha districts today

Bhubaneswar: Thunderstorm accompanied with rain is likely to lash several places across four districts in the state today.

As per the latest bulletin issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre here, moderate thunderstorm along with light to moderate rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places over districts like Sundergarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh and Nuapada till 4 pm today.

Besides, gusty wind with speed reaching 30 to 40 kmph is also likely to prevail in these areas.

Meanwhile, heatwave condition continued to grip several parts of the state today.
