Truck crushes man to death in Odisha’s Sundargarh; road blocked

Sundargarh, Apr 11:
In a tragic incident, a person was crushed to death by a truck at Kutra Chhak in Odisha’s Sundargarh district this morning.

The deceased was identified as Muhammad Abdul Razzak (50), a newspaper agent.
The truck ran over his head killing him on the spot, reports said, adding that the driver of the vehicle fled the spot after the accident.
Tension gripped the area following the incident as irate locals staged road blockade demanding compensation for the family members of the deceased and constriction of underground road.
Many vehicles remained stranded on both sides of the road.
