Two boys killed in temple wall collapse

Brahmapur, Apr 19:

Two boys were killed in a tragic incident in Kantiagada village under Ganjam block in Odisha’s Ganjam district as an old wall of the local Bateswar temple collapsed on them today, police said.

The deceased were identified as Rajesh Pradhan (15) of Nilandripur and Rajesh Sahu (15) of Humma, both Class 10 students in different schools, sources said.

Subdivisional police officer, Chhatrapur, A C Pahi said “The children were on a visit to the temple when the mishap occurred”.

While one of the boys died on the spot the other who was rushed to the government hospital at Chhatrapur died there, sources said.
