Two killed in Odisha after car skids off road

Two persons were killed and two others sustained injuries when a car in which they were travelling skidded off the road late on Monday night in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district.

According to reports, four persons were returning to Apandara village from Cuttack when the mishap occurred at Sadeipur on Jagatsinghpur-Machhagaon road.
The ill-fated car hit the parapet of a bridge before skidding off the road. While two persons died on the spot, two other co-passengers sustained injuries in the mishap. The injured were rushed to hospital for treatment.
The deceased have been identified as Narendra Nayak and Manas Kumar Rout.
