Van carrying BSF jawans overturns in Odisha, 17 critically injured

Koraput: In a tragic incident, a van carrying BSF jawans overturned at Bandikhar ghat in Odisha’s Koraput district this morning.

As many as 17 jawans have sustained critical injuries in the mishap, reports said.

The victims have been admitted to Koraput district headquarters hospital for treatment. Condition of five of them is stated to be critical.

The accident took place when the vehicle, carrying around 30 security forces from Rayagada to Laxmipur in the district, turned turtle at a road turning in the ghat.
