Vigilance raid on Town Planning office in Odisha’s Dhenkanal

Acting on allegations on gross financial irregularities, a team of Vigilance officials raided the Town Planning office in Dhenkanal town of Odisha this morning.

According to reports, the team verified several official documents pertaining to the project works during the raid.

The district Vigilance had earlier received complaints regarding misappropriation of around Rs 70 lakh earmarked for infrastructure development work in the town.

Interrogation of the Town Planning officials were on when the reports last came in.
