Bhubaneswar, Nov 7:

Claiming that its civil disobedience movement organised against the BJD government on Wednesday was a huge success, the Odisha congress today blamed the ruling party for hatching a conspiracy to foil the party’s agitation.
It is to be noted that violence had occurred at several  places, including Hatadihi in PCC chief Jayadev Jena’s home turf in Keonjhar, during the agitation yesterday.
Senior congress leader Sarat Rout demanded the resignation of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in the Itishree murder case. He also demanded handing over of the investigation of the case to CBI.
The women’s wing of party, it may be noted, has lodged an FIR at the Capital police station today seeking the arrest of the CM, Koraput MP Jayram Pangi, and the collector and SP of Rayagada for their role in the case.
