Watch: Doctors treat patients in dark at Odisha’s SCB Hospital amid power cut

Cuttack: In a highly unfortunate incident, doctors had to treat patients in the dark for a while at the casualty ward of SCB Medical College and Hospital in Odisha’s Cuttack as power went off for around 15 minutes, last evening.

The incident took place around 9.30 pm. Owing to power cut, patients underwent treatment in such condition while hospital staffers used torch to ensure interrupted service for emergency cases.

Lack of power backup at the state’s premier healthcare facility has raised serious questions over the quality of service at the government hospital.
