“Won’t spare anyone, if …,” reads Odia TV actress Rashmirekha’s suicide note

Bhubaneswar: “Won’t spare anyone, if…,” read a suicide note reportedly written by Odia television actress Rashmirekha Ojha before she hanged herself here in the city.

Rashmirekha had reportedly written a heartfelt note before ending her life at a rented house two days ago.

During search following mysterious death of the leading television actress, the local police recovered a handwritten letter from residence of the deceased.

In the suicide note, the actress addressed her ‘beau’ Santosh as San urging her father not to lodge any complaint with police for her death.

“Won’t spare anyone, if he lands in trouble,” Rashmirekha reportedly wrote in the letter.

Expressing her feelings for her boyfriend, Rashmirekha wrote, “I love you San”. She also apologized to everyone for taking extreme step tagging herself as a ‘bad girl’.

Earlier in the day, the family of the deceased actress had alleged the involvement of Santosh Patra, who was said to be the live-in partner of Rashmirekha, behind ‘suicide’.

The actress was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her rented house in Gadasahi area under Nayapalli limits in Bhubaneswar on June 18 night.

“We had telephoned her on Saturday evening but she didn’t receive the calls. Later, Santosh informed us about her death. We came to know from the landlord of the house that Santosh and Rashmi were living as a married couple. We have no idea about her marriage,” said Rashmirekha’s father.

“Santosh has killed my daughter. He should be arrested and sent to jail,” he alleged.

The Nayapalli police has registered an unnatural death case and initiated probe into the case.
