Writer Ramachandra Behera to receive ‘Atibadi Jagannath Das Puraskar’

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Sahitya Akademi today announced to confer the prestigious ‘Atibadi Jagannath Das Puraskar’ on noted writer Ramachandra Behera for the year of 2020.

During an executive council meeting under the chairmanship of the Akademi President Harihara Mishra today, it was decided to honour Behera with the ‘Atibadi Jagannath Das Puraskar’ for 2020 and felicitate 15 other litterateurs at a special function.

Litterateurs Debendra Kumar Das, Girija Shankar Sharma, Ashok Kumar Patnaik, Babaji Charan Patnaik, Baidhara Sahu, Jiban Krushna Mohapatra, Digaraj Brahma, Rudranarayan Prusty, Soubhagini Mishra, Swarajlaxmi Mishra, Krupasindhu Nayak, Nirmalaprabha Nayak, Raseshwari Mishra, Radha Binod Nayak and Maheswara Mulia will be felicitated at the function organised by the Sahitya Akademi.
