1389 more test COVID-19 positive in Odisha; tally at 2,93,214
Bhubaneswar: Another 1389 persons in Odisha tested positive for deadly Coronavirus in the last 24 hours taking he state’s total caseload to 2,93,214.
Of the total fresh cases detected from all 30 districts, 798 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 591 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.
Khordha recorded highest 142 fresh cases followed by Cuttack (101) and Sundargarh (100).
With the fresh cases, the number of total active cases in the state rose to 14, 257. Besides, 2,77,564 persons have so far recovered from the disease so far.
