3 killed, 20 hurt in road accident

Three persons were killed and over 20 injured when a mini truck in which they were travelling, collided head-on with a speeding truck at Salebhata in Odisha’s Bolangir district late on Friday night.

According to reports, a group of people from Guderkanta village of Dunguripalli block had gone to attend a marriage feast to a nearby village in a mini truck.

On their return, the driver lost control of the vehicle which hit a speeding truck coming from the opposite direction.

While three persons died on the spot, over 20 others were seriously injured.

The injured were later rushed to VSS Medical College and Hospital at Burla.
