Bhubaneswar: As many as 72 more persons in Odisha contracted COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the state’s total caseload to 3,35,692.
However, one covid patient also succumbed to the deadly virus.
Regret to inform the demise of 74 years old female Covid positive patient of Balasore District who was also suffering from Hypertension.

Of the total fresh cases detected from 19 districts, 44 have been reported from different quarantine centres while 28 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.
Sundargarh recorded highest 11 fresh cases followed by Puri (8) and Mayurbhanj (7).
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 781 and recovered cases at 3,32,948.
