Bhubaneswar: Odisha witnessed a spike of 753 fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours . With the fresh cases, the state’s total count rose to to 3,08,659.
Of the total fresh cases detected from all 30 districts, 434 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 319 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.
Sundargarh recorded highest 75 fresh cases followed by Khordha (74) and Nuapada (65).
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 10,563. Besides, 2,96,516 persons have so far recovered from the disease so far.
