Enzen, the private franchisee in power distribution business in Odisha, has steered a major recruitment drive over last 3 years, by hiring of over 2000 persons in both semi and un-skilled category, both direct and indirect.Enzen-New

The company has recruited people from around 50 local-based educational institutes and hired 40 women engineers from the local engineering colleges during FY 2012-13.

“We are always committed to generate maximum employment opportunities for the local community. 90% of our workforces are local people,” Head of Power DistributionEnzen, Debabrata Rout said.

“The company has invested significantly in upgrading skill and welfare of people in its operation area” Shri Rout said, adding, “The recent cyclone restoration was a classic example of lack of trained personnel to meet the challenge in Odisha. Special training institute are required crate a workforce in distribution operation.”

A large group of good, talented and qualified engineers,  ITI diploma holders with the right attitude to work are part of the operation at Enzen, he said.

“Our unique on-the-board training model has created well-equipped field staffs, who can work in an absolute safety environment,” Location Head of Enzen Odisha, Manoj Panda said.

The company has started its franchisee operation in 2008 in two subdivisions each in NESCO, WESCO and SOUTHCO  and subsequently with CESU in Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Angul and Dhenkanal districts, serving around 7 lakh consumers at present.
