12-ft-long python rescued from shed in Odisha’s Dhenkanal

Dhenkanal: A 12-feet-long python was rescued from a cattle shed at a slum on the outskirts of Dhenkanal town in Odisha today.

The snake had reportedly entered the shed to engulf a goat.

Noticing the reptile, locals informed the snake helpline and the animal was rescued unhurt by a member of the helpline.

The python will be released to Megha forest near Kapilash with the help of Forest department, the member said.
