Admissions into MBBS, BDS courses begin in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The first round admission into MBBS and BDS courses in eight medical colleges of Odisha began from today.

Separate admission dates for each of these medical colleges have been alloted by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) committee.

Admission into MBBS seats at SCB Medical College, Cuttack will take place on July 5, MKCG Medical College, Berhampur on July 6, VIMSAR, Burla on July 7, Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College, Koraput and Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College, Baripada on July 8, Government Medical College, Balangir and Government Medical College, Balasore on July 9 and Hi-Tech Medical College, Bhubaneswar on July 10.

Admission for BDS courses will take place at SCB Dental College, Cuttack on July 7 and Hi-Tech Dental College, Bhubaneswar on July 10.

After completion of the first round admission, students will join their respective institutes by July 12. Classes for academic session 2018-19 will start from August 1.
